Give Yourself a Break
This quote really spoke to me this morning. Weight loss can be a constant mental battle. Whether you are trying to lose 10 pounds or 100 pounds, losing weight is hard! It takes a lot of mental strength and discipline to say "no" to the foods/portion sizes we are used to eating. Go easy on yourself, work your butt off but don't beat yourself up over the little things. If you have a bad day, don't turn it into a week, get back on track and move on. Be empowered and inspired to be a healthier you, but don't make yourself miserable while doing it.

FUN!
Make your workouts FUN! Be silly, goofy and enjoy every bit of the struggle, celebrations and learning experiences you have through each workout. Working out shouldn't be a chore. It should be a way to release stress, have your alone time and do something for yourself. Enjoy it, embrace it and watch yourself grow through the process.

Sleep is Priority Number 1
We often put sleep on the last part of our "needs" list. With small babies, busy schedules and sometimes the attitude of "I'll sleep when I'm dead" we tend to form a habit of running on 4 hours of sleep a night. Friends, sleep should be at the top of your list!!! Your body needs to be able to rest and recover in order to get through the day successfully. When it comes to our body, sleep, nutrition and fitness should be the order of importance we follow daily. So rest up and put sleep at the top of your health priority list!!

Breaking/Forming a Habit
Something to think about as we go into this week......Breaking or making a habit takes time and every habit is different! Some take longer than others depending on how long we've had them in our lives. Stay patient and keep pushing. Here are a few quick tips from Dani Johnson:

Be a Better YOU
Through hard work and determination, we begin to see change. Part of that change in yourself, is NOT comparing your journey to someone else's. Make yourself better because YOU want to. Be a better you!
